Mr.
Mathur is Executive Vice president of Pinnacle Hospitality.
With over 35 years in the hospitality industry, Mr. Mathur
has a far reaching background in operating first class
hotel, resorts and fine dining operations in India, Europe
and the US. He oversees all aspects of the day-to-day
leadership of hotels and conference center in the Pinnacle
Hospitality portfolio. Mr. Mathur is responsible for operations,
including human resources, training and development; strategic
planning; brand management; marketing and sales; and development
of new properties, including the selection of locations,
franchise, financial engineering and project coordination.
He has extensive experience in revenue development and
financial performance. Mr. Mathur is a recognized specialist
in hotel repositioning and turnarounds.
Prior to joining Pinnacle Hospitality, Mr. Mathur served
as Vice President of Operations for JHM Hotels, based
in Greenville, SC, where he was associated with developing
and operating brands such as Hilton Hotels; Marriott;
Cendant; Choice International; Intercontinental Hotels
Group; and US Franchise Systems. In this role, he was
responsible for all Franchise support functions, including
Quality Assurance, Education and Training, Design, Development
(franchising), Revenue Management and Franchise Advocacy
providing a clear and consistent focus on the Brand's
Franchise Community.
Mr. Mathur is a graduate of the Oberoi Hotel School in
India with specialization programs from Cornell University
and Ecole Hoteliere in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Suresh and his wife Janice, have a son Shahzad and daughter
