Mr. VanDaele began his career in the hospitality industry at the Omni Hotel in Charleston, SC. Mr. VanDaele started as a room service waiter and progressed up the ladder in food and beverage management prior to moving to the Sheraton Hotel in Columbia, SC., where he assumed responsibility for the Banquet Department. The Holiday Inn in Mt. Pleasant, SC offered Mr. VanDaele an opportunity to further his experience as Food and Beverage Manager which prepared him for the position of Assistant General Manager at AmeriSuites in Greenville, SC. Mr. VanDaele joined Pinnacle Hospitality in October, 2000 as General Manager and has also held the position of Area Manager for our company’s economy brand hotels.
