Upon
graduation from high school, Mr. Williams began his food
and beverage career as a bartender in Myrtle Beach, South
Carolina and was promoted to Bar Manager and then General
Manager. As a former restaurant and lounge owner in Spartanburg,
(ETs, Spanky’s, Clancy’s, Uncle Ed’s
& Aunt Emma’s), the latter restaurant was recognized
eight (8) times as the best Barbeque restaurant in the
area. Mr. Williams was recruited by Waffle House and subsequently
named District manager responsible for 24 units that saw
double-digit increases in sales. He was responsible for
opening two new Fatz Café’s that broke sales
records and was hired by the Renaissance Marriott as the
opening Chef for Dupres Restaurant buffet. Mr. Williams
brought over 20 years food and beverage experience to
Chandi’s Bistro when he was hired as Executive Chef
and a short time later promoted to General Manager. |
